A regra
Always, usually, often, sometimes, rarely, never vêm antes do verbo principal (I often cook), mas depois do verbo to be (She is always late).
Como se forma
sujeito + advérbio + verbo
I usually walk to work.
Eu geralmente vou a pé para o trabalho.
to be + advérbio
He is never hungry in the morning.
Ele nunca está com fome de manhã.
How often…? / once a week
How often do you go to the gym?
Com que frequência você vai à academia?
Erros comuns
I go always to bed late.I always go to bed late.
O advérbio vem antes do verbo principal.
She never is tired.She is never tired.
Com to be, o advérbio vem depois.
I don't never eat meat.I never eat meat.
Never já é negativo: não use dois negativos.
