    Preposições de movimento

    A regra

    Into = para dentro, out of = para fora, across = de um lado ao outro (superfície), through = por dentro de algo (túnel, floresta), along = ao longo, up/down = subindo/descendo.

    Como se forma

    • into / out of

      He jumped into the pool.

      Ele pulou na piscina.

    • across (superfície)

      We walked across the bridge.

      Atravessamos a ponte a pé.

    • through (por dentro)

      The train goes through a long tunnel.

      O trem passa por um túnel comprido.

    • along / up / down

      They ran along the beach.

      Eles correram pela praia.

    Erros comuns

    • She came in the room.

      She came into the room.

      Movimento para dentro: into.

    • Get out the car.

      Get out of the car.

      Para fora de algo: out of (com of).

    • We drove across the forest.

      We drove through the forest.

      Por dentro de algo cercado (floresta, túnel): through.
