Simple past (passado)
A regra
Verbos regulares ganham -ed (work → worked); muitos comuns são irregulares (go → went). Na negativa e na pergunta, use did + verbo na forma base.
Como se forma
work → worked
We worked late yesterday.
Trabalhamos até tarde ontem.
go → went · see → saw
I went to the beach last weekend.
Fui à praia no fim de semana passado.
didn't + verb
She didn't call me.
Ela não me ligou.

Did you see the game?

Erros comuns
I goed home early.I went home early.
Go é irregular: o passado é went.
She didn't went out.She didn't go out.
Depois de didn't, o verbo volta à forma base.
Did you saw the movie?Did you see the movie?
O did já marca o passado; o verbo fica na forma base.
