Hear ou listen: qual a diferença?
Hear é ouvir, perceber um som, mesmo sem querer: "Can you hear me?" Listen é escutar com atenção, de propósito, e pede to antes do objeto: "I'm listening to a podcast." Numa chamada, para conferir o áudio, diga "Can you hear me?", não "Can you listen to me?".
Exemplos

Desculpa, não estou te ouvindo. Você está no mudo.
