IELTS: o que a nota significa e quem aceita qual nota
O IELTS (International English Language Testing System) dá uma banda de 0 a 9 em cada habilidade e uma nota geral, que é a média arredondada para a meia banda mais próxima; segundo o IELTS, 5,5 a 6,5 equivalem ao B2 e 7 a 8 ao C1.

A nota geral é a média das quatro partes (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking), arredondada para a meia banda mais próxima.[1]

- Banda 5, "Modest" na descrição do IELTS; abaixo da faixa do B2 (5,5 a 6,5).

- Início da faixa do B2 (5,5 a 6,5).
- IELTS 6,0
- Dentro da faixa do B2 (5,5 a 6,5); banda 6 é "Competent".
- IELTS 7,0
- Início da faixa do C1 (7 a 8); banda 7 é "Good".
Validade
O IELTS recomenda considerar o resultado válido por 2 anos depois da prova; quem aceita a nota pode aceitar por mais tempo, então confira o prazo do programa.[1]
